Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders
Provide correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary
Serve as preceptor for imaging procedures
Operate all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique
Meet all computer and documentation competencies

Qualification

ARDMS CertificationRegistered Vascular TechDoppler/duplex equipment operationSterile procedurePatient care skillsBasic computer skillsCommunication skillsIndependent work

Required

Exceptional communication and patient care skills aptitude toward the team philosophy
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Basic computer skills
Sterile procedure
Provides correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary
Serves as preceptor for imaging procedures
Operates all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique
Meets all computer and documentation competencies
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
License Required: Current ARDMS Certification in Ultrasound (If hired without a license, ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI certification is required within 24 months of obtaining position)
Registered Vascular Tech within 1 year
