Responsibilities

Provide financial leadership to manufacturing and operations teams through analysis of cost drivers, production performance, and capital spend
Evaluate and maintain product cost structures, including materials, labor, and overhead
Develop financial models to assess operational changes, restructuring scenarios, and investment opportunities
Support long-term capital planning and evaluate return metrics for proposed projects
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align operational strategies with financial goals
Perform monthly variance analysis on production costs, inventory, and cost of goods sold
Lead financial support for continuous improvement initiatives and cost savings projects
Deliver financial insights to senior leadership via dashboards, reports, and business case presentations
Assist in developing and maintaining rolling forecasts and budgets for manufacturing operations
Contribute to ongoing improvements in reporting tools, financial processes, and internal controls

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing finance or cost analysis role
Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and capital investment evaluation
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards) and advanced Excel capabilities
Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership teams
Highly analytical with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

Preferred

CPA or MBA preferred but not required
