Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic CT scans of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and perform biopsy/drainage procedures
Ensure timely and accurate imaging in accordance with departmental protocols
Operate and process CT systems effectively
Maintain knowledge of sterile and surgical procedures, especially when performing studies with or without contrast media
Demonstrate proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques
Adhere to safety standards and maintain patient comfort throughout procedures
Qualification
Required
BLS certification
Graduate of an accredited AMA school
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Preferred
2 year's experience in CT
