Lead the development of novel algorithms and modeling techniques to advance the state of the art with multimodal systems
Leverage Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate development with multi-modal Large Language Models (LLMs) and GenAI in Computer Vision

Qualification

Required

5+ years of scientists or machine learning engineers management experience
Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application
Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
Experience with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, MxNet
Research publications in computer vision, deep learning or machine learning at peer-reviewed workshops, conferences or journals
PhD, or Master's degree and 5+ years of applied research experience

Preferred

PhD in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related field
Experience leading, mentoring and growing teams of scientists (teams of five or more scientists)
Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
Experience with popular deep learning frameworks, including PyTorch
Experience with learning multi-modal LLMs and GenAI in Computer Vision, both in the image and video domains
