The role involves overseeing MDS assessments, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities
Oversee the completion and submission of MDS assessments and care plans according to federal and state regulations
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure accuracy in resident assessments and documentation
Monitor and audit clinical documentation to support reimbursement and compliance
Participate in Quality Assurance meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Provide education and support to staff on MDS processes and documentation best practices
Qualification
Required
Current RN or LPN license in the state of North Carolina
Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and RAI processes
Excellent organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
Preferred
Minimum 1 year of MDS experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
