Responsibilities

Create, plan, and implement the People Operations strategy to support business needs, focusing on operational excellence and streamlined HR procedures

Manage the full scope of employee benefits, leave of absence (LOA), workers' compensation, and US immigration programs, ensuring effective administration and compliance

Manage employee relations, performance management, and compliance programs, including conducting policy reviews, handling disciplinary matters, and overseeing mandatory training documentation

Handle all initial employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, acting as a critical first point of contact for the People Team

Hire, coach, and support talent through consistent feedback, navigation of challenges, and celebration of wins

Required

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in People Operations or as an HR Generalist, with at least 5 years of direct supervisory or management experience

Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (including California and Washington), and experience developing clear, effective People policies and employee handbooks

Strong expertise in managing complex People Operations programs, including employee benefits, leave administration (LOA), workers' compensation, and US immigration

Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS and ATS systems like ADP WorkforceNow and Greenhouse, or the ability to quickly learn new software

Exceptional organizational, conflict resolution, and written/verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
