VSP Vision Care is seeking an Associate Optometrist to join Chan Family Optometry in Grass Valley, California, a practice known for its excellent eye care services. The role involves providing comprehensive eye care, managing ocular diseases, and performing eye exams for patients of all ages, utilizing advanced technology in a community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages
Manage ocular diseases like glaucoma, AMD, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye syndrome
Offer pediatric and adult eye exams
Fit contact lenses and handle routine vision care such as refractions and prescription updates
Use advanced technology like Oculus Keratograph, OptiLight IPL, Optos, OCT, and Zeiss Humphrey Visual Field to treat approximately 14 patients daily

Qualification

Licensed in CaliforniaGlaucoma certificationDoctor of optometry degreePediatric eye examsAdult eye examsPassion for eye careExceptional communicationContinuous learning

Required

Licensed in California with glaucoma certification
Doctor of optometry degree

Preferred

Residency training and prior work experience are a plus but not required
