Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses
Establish and lead an innovative research program
Supervise graduate students
Pursue external funding opportunities
Provide service to the University
Preferred
Demonstrated ability as a teacher or research worker
Evidence of growth in scholarly or professional achievement for Assistant Professor
Established reputation in scholarly or professional achievement for Associate Professor
Substantial record of advanced research and/or creative work, and of leadership in their field of specialization for Professor
Plans to establish a research program and vision for collaborating within the department as well as across Penn State
Interest in supporting graduate and undergraduate programs through teaching and mentoring students
