Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Computer Science
Texas Christian University (TCU) is seeking candidates for tenure-track faculty positions in the Department of Computer Science. The successful candidates will lead impactful research, secure external funding, and mentor students while contributing to the department's growth and teaching excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead impactful scholarship and secure external funding
Mentor students at all levels
Contribute to departmental growth, including the planned M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Computer Science
Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration
Develop and sustain an externally funded research program
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field by August 17, 2026
A strong commitment to excellence in both research and teaching, with enthusiasm for mentoring students at all levels
Demonstrated potential to develop and sustain an externally funded research program
Interest in contributing to departmental growth, including the planned M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Computer Science
Preferred
Experience with proposal writing or evidence of external funding success
Potential for national research recognition
Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
Internationally recognized research record (sustained publications in top venues)
Evidence of external funding success (e.g., NSF, NIH, DOE, DoD), with potential for continued support
Evidence of academic leadership (e.g., center direction, large-scale grants, mentoring junior faculty)
