Responsibilities
Technical challenges cover a broad range of disciplines including antennas, the entire transmit and receive chain, radar system modeling, ground moving target identification, electronic warfare, maritime surveillance, image processing, algorithm development for advanced Radar image products and exploitation
Design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures
Design and implementation and testing of algorithms for detection, discrimination and tracking systems
Modeling and simulation of system designs to demonstrate performance metrics
Develop unique solutions and efficient implementations of signal processing algorithms for challenging mission applications
Use common industry signal processing tools such as IDL, MATLAB, Python or C++ to analyze data and generate algorithms
Analyze system level signal propagation, RF system performance, requirements development and review
Collaborate with a broad range of cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, program management, and senior leadership
Qualification
Required
At least a bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or other technical field (advanced degree preferred)
5+ years of experience in radar signal processing, probability and statistics, and algorithm development
Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, Python
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
Preferred
Experience with FMCW and automotive radar signal processing chains
Experience with MIMO arrays and subspace AoA estimation techniques
Experience with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) signal processing algorithms such as backprojection, polar formatting, range migration algorithm, etc
Proficiency with AESA/PESA system architectures
