Responsibilities

Provide didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction in Surgical Technology

Deliver high-quality teaching that supports student learning and skill development

Conduct courses on campus during the day and at designated clinical sites in the Marietta area

Guide and mentor students in both academic and clinical settings to ensure program success

Required

A minimum of an earned bachelor's degree

Be a graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency

Possess a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA)

Have a minimum total of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years

Strong communication and technology skills
