Work independently and with the interdisciplinary treatment team
Qualification
Required
Applicant must be licensed or licensed eligible
Licensed as a Clinical Addictions Specialist - Associate (LCAS-A)
Experience working with substance use disorders and/or psychiatric disorders
Experience with independent planning, organizing, and facilitating discharge planning
Training in motivational interviewing and trauma informed care
Thorough knowledge of case management policies and procedures gained through previous work experience
Demonstrated ability to create, implement and supervise patient treatment planning
Working knowledge of addiction, substance abuse counseling practice models; mental health policy and models of treatment; cultural diversity and its impact on treatment; and knowledge of mental health laws
