Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi is seeking qualified, licensed electrical contractors for electrical inspection, repairs, and utility connection at Camp Kilohana. The role involves conducting comprehensive inspections, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Conduct a comprehensive inspection of electrical systems in all buildings
Assess panels, wiring, outlets, fixtures, and safety systems
Provide a report with identified deficiencies and recommendations
Correct deficiencies identified during inspection
Specific tasks may include:
Electrical panel and disconnect repair or replacement
Panel upgrades or service replacements
Wiring repairs or replacements
Grounding and bonding improvements
Installation or repair of outlets, switches, and fixtures
Compliance upgrades per NEC, state, and county codes
Provide design and installation to connect two existing buildings on the property (Baldwin and Pohaku Lodges) to electricity from the utility pole located at the property perimeter
Work may include:
Coordinating with the local utility company for approvals and permits
Trenching, conduit installation, or overhead wiring as appropriate
Service entrance installation (meters, panels, disconnects)
Testing and certification of power connection
Ensure work is fully compliant with all applicable regulations
Provide inspection reports, permits, and approval documents
Submit itemized invoices for labor, equipment, and materials

Qualification

Required

Hold a valid electrical contractor's license in the State of Hawaii (or relevant jurisdiction)
