Raytheon is seeking a well-qualified Senior Systems Security Engineer (P3) to join our Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team in developing solutions to protect the Warfighter’s technology advantage. The role involves supporting the implementation of SSE solutions, developing Risk Management Framework documents, and performing cybersecurity analysis to ensure system security.

Responsibilities

Support implementation of SSE solutions into RTX products

Support the development of Risk Management Framework (RMF) documents for Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditation

Perform analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test results

Validate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets, using DoD approved scanning and assessment tools such as Nessus, STIG, Evaluate STIG, and/or RADIX

Create and maintain Linux Bash and Python scripts

Create patch artifacts such as patch media and information assurance posture reports

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience

Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Experience in System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, cybersecurity, or embedded security

Experience in generating systems requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans and/or policies
