Faculty (DNP Project Coordinator) - Full-Time Non-Tenure Stream
The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, non-tenure stream faculty position in the Department of Nurse Anesthesia. The role involves oversight and guidance of Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) scholarly projects, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, while contributing to the education and research environment of the university.

Responsibilities
Assume primary oversight and guidance of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) scholarly projects required for program completion and Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) compliance
Advise or oversee PhD or DNP projects in a graduate nursing or advanced practice program
Demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and systems-based leadership
Qualification
Required
Earned doctorate (PhD or DNP)
Eligibility for RN licensure in Pennsylvania or a compact state
Strong understanding of the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) standards
Experience advising or overseeing PhD or DNP projects in a graduate nursing or advanced practice program
Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and systems-based leadership
For Assistant Professor: Evidence of or potential for a sustained and impactful program of scholarship
For Assistant Professor: Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring, and contributing to a learning environment that values evidence-based practice
For Associate Professor: Evidence of a sustained and impactful program of scholarship that is nationally recognized
For Associate Professor: Evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring, and contributing to a learning environment that values evidence-based practice
For Associate Professor: Evidence of or potential for leadership in the field
For Professor: Evidence of a sustained and impactful program of scholarship that is internationally recognized
For Professor: Evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring, and contributing to a learning environment that values evidence-based practice
For Professor: Evidence of leadership in the field
