Contract Writer for a Book on Waiting
The Daily Grace Co. is seeking a contract writer for a special project: a Christ-centered book that offers biblical encouragement and hope to readers in a season of waiting. The ideal candidate will have deep theological insight, strong writing skills, and a personal understanding of how waiting can shape faith and life.

Responsibilities
Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript (50,000–75,000 words) on waiting from a biblical perspective
Weave together theology, Scripture, encouragement, and practical application with sensitivity to readers’ struggles
Incorporate stories, examples, and applications that resonate with women wrestling with waiting in various areas of life (relationships, family, health, career, unanswered prayers)
Collaborate with the editorial team for feedback and revisions
Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Comprehensive understanding of covenant theology
Strong grasp of biblical theology and how all of Scripture points to Jesus
Personal experience with seasons of waiting, with the ability to write authentically and pastorally about those challenges
Familiarity with how waiting intersects with mental and emotional health
Ability to make deep theological truths accessible to a broad audience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with the writing and editing process
Organized and self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines
Comfortable with collaborative writing and constructive feedback
Preferred
Master's degree preferred (studies in theology, Bible, English, humanities, journalism, or counseling/psychology preferred)
