Operates mammographic and ultrasound equipment in order to obtain images of designated areas
May perform or assist physicians in carrying out more complex examinations and assisting in sterile procedures
Must follow all MQSA guidelines and maintain current licensure and appropriate CE credits
Serves as a resource person to other radiologic technologists and support staff in resolution of work-related problems and coordinating patient flow
Qualification
Required
Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist
Current California Mammography Certificate
BCLS Required
Knowledge of diagnostic principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment as acquired through satisfactory completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program
