Start in 2026 SummerCivil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is looking for an Ecological Services Intern for the summer of 2026. The intern will support the Ecological Team by conducting field assessments, collecting data using GPS technology, and assisting with report writing and correspondence with regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities
Conduct field assessments to identify and assess wetlands and waterbodies and assess habitat conditions in accordance with procedures established by applicable regulatory agencies
Assist with collection of data using GPS technology
Complete data forms and report writing
Correspond with applicable regulatory agencies
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Ecological or Environmental program
Preferred
Preference given to those pursuing studies in ecology, botany, wildlife, environmental science, natural resources, soil science, fluvial geomorphology, or closely related field
Prior internship and/or related experience preferred
