Lehigh Carbon Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach various Business subjects in their ACBSP-approved Business program. The role involves maintaining academic records, enhancing instructional effectiveness, and developing course curriculum while engaging in professional development and advising students.

Responsibilities

Maintain and submit accurate academic records, including grades, attendance, and certifications
Enhance instructional effectiveness through ongoing self-evaluation and by integrating current developments in teaching and learning strategies
Develop and update course curriculum, including using appropriate technology
Deliver course instruction in alignment with the master course outline and class schedule
Assist in the preparation of materials required for maintaining ACBSP approval
Actively participate in School of Business Division meetings and Institutional Adjunct training and activities
Create and implement plans to effectively deliver the program curriculum
Assist the college in ensuring technology, facilities, and equipment remain up-to-date
Engage in professional development, including both college-sponsored activities and independent efforts, to remain current in the field of study
Advise students as to appropriate courses for completion of the program of study
Collaborate with counselors, advisors, and other college staff to address student needs
Stay informed about industry, market, and competitive trends to support program relevancy
Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Graduate degree in BusinessTeaching experienceProfessional certificationsLearning Management SystemsHy-flex synchronous teachingAsynchronous Course DevelopmentRemote meetings technologyBusiness operations experience

Required

A graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or Human Resource from an accredited institution
A minimum of two years of experience
Entrepreneurship subject matter can substitute degree requirement for 7-10 year successful business operations

Preferred

Professional certifications
Teaching experience at a secondary or college level
Experience with Learning Management Systems
Hy-flex synchronous teaching experience in the classroom and Remote meetings technology
Asynchronous Course Development and Instruction
