Reliability Engineer (Summer 2026 Internship)

Reliable Robotics is building safety-enhancing technology for aviation that will save lives. As a Reliability Engineering Intern, you will own at least one project from early conceptual design to new product integration, working directly with flight hardware and contributing to the development of automated flight systems.

Responsibilities

Own at least one project from early conceptual design to new product integration (NPI)
Work directly with flight hardware in the factory and on the plane
Run investigations and containments on safety-critical products
Experience the full product development cycle with high priority and value-added efforts contributing to automated flight systems

Required

Junior or Senior standing in 4-year college degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent field of study
Practical experience with engineering design, manufacturing, test and/or software engineering practices
Experience with design software (CAD), scripting tools (Python, C, SQL, etc), and fault modeling
A demonstrated passion for electromechanical hardware and software

Preferred

Experience evaluating, defining, strategizing, and executing test campaigns and investigations
Hands on application of electromechanical systems through classes, clubs, or hobbies
Excellent measurement, technical writing, and data analysis skills
Eagerness to both teach and learn
