Responsibilities
Investigate and analyze markets trends, understanding customer needs and identifying growth opportunities and potential risks
Develop and implement strategies tailored to the specific industry's market trends and organizational objectives
Working with product management, sales, technology and finance to align resources and initiatives
Acting as a leader, expert and advocate for the industry both internally and externally
Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the industry segment and taking corrective actions as needed
Communication effectively with internal and external stakeholders about industry trends, strategies and performance
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners and industry influencers
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial management, or a related field; a master's degree may be preferred
Ability to research and characterize emerging industries and markets
Required wide experience in the Chemical Industry, 5+ years of experience in product management, business management or business development
Experience writing business, market and product commercialization plans; as well as product development and product commercialization processes
Action oriented, hands on, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
Microsoft 365 and SAP
Self-starter able to develop and identify new opportunities
Strong communication, presentation and consulting skills
Strong analytical skills
Individual contributor role
Ability to travel up to 50%
