Responsibilities

Architect and implement backend services and APIs using TypeScript / Node.js/ Python
Design and scale data ingestion pipelines for blockchain and crypto datasets
Build reliable, secure systems on AWS (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.)
Collaborate closely with data engineers and product leads to define data schemas, access layers, and platform integrations
Set technical direction and establish best practices for performance, testing, and observability
Contribute to early product decisions, feature prioritization, and roadmap shaping

Required

5+ years of experience building backend systems in TypeScript / Node.js / Python
Strong foundation in AWS services and cloud architecture
Proven ability to work in fast-paced startup environments — adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity
Experience designing APIs, data pipelines, and event-driven systems
Knowledge of or strong curiosity about crypto / blockchain technologies

Preferred

Bonus: exposure to insurance data, risk analytics, or regulatory systems
