Responsibilities

Designing and developing backend systems that deploy machine learning capabilities in both training and production environments
Driving architectural decisions for core services that enable rapid iteration and reliable performance
Building integrations between ML inference pipelines, monitoring tools, APIs, and user-facing applications
Developing database and data processing layers that support complex business logic
Improving CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery velocity and ensure robust deployments
Partnering directly with customers to understand workflow challenges and shape product outcomes

Required

5+ years of backend software engineering experience (Python preferred)
Proven experience designing distributed systems and working with large-scale data
Strong understanding of APIs, web frameworks (e.g. Django, FastAPI, Flask), and database architecture
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GCP (or AWS/Azure equivalents), and workflow management platforms
A track record of high ownership and growth — ideally with visible career progression or technical leadership in past roles
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with product and customer-facing teams

Preferred

Experience with ML or data infrastructure, including serving or deploying machine learning models
Familiarity with LLM-powered systems or AI applications
Prior work at high-growth startups or companies with strong engineering cultures
Experience in industries like fintech, automation, or enterprise data systems
