Responsibilities
Support attorneys in connection with all aspects of case management and document production, heavy document editing, proofreading and finalizing legal documents in Microsoft Word
E-filing in USCIS, state, federal and appellate courts
Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings and conferences, enter billable time and process expense reports
Update electronic records, upload documents, and run reports
Adept at using all of Microsoft’s Office tools
Maintain and organize case files, organize paper and electronic documents for use in depositions or trials
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3-5 years of legal experience
Exceptional technical skills required including knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook, Adobe Professional, LawLogix and electronic document management
Ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication and client service skills
Ability to switch gears and self-manage multiple, competing expectations with little to no supervision
Must be a team player with strong communication skills and a solid work ethic
Must be detailed oriented. Excellent grammar and spelling skills are essential
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are essential
Position requires in-office presence, 5 days per week. This is not a remote work position
Preferred
Immigration law experience preferred
Experience working with Labor & Employment with a focus on Immigration is preferred but experience in varying practice groups is welcomed
