The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for new product development from concept through completion, ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards while also maintaining existing products and providing technical support.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and testing of analog, digital, and embedded control systems for new products
Design and layout custom PCBs using electrical CAD software
Develop and maintain embedded firmware for microcontrollers
Design/manage Windows/Linux/Android-based software applications for product integration
Ensure compliance with UL, CSA, and CE certifications for products
Collaborate with vendors to source and validate new components
Support the sales department with feedback on product upgrades and options
Build test fixtures and interface them with external hardware or PCs
Troubleshoot and resolve production and field service issues

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
3+ years of experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital, and embedded control)
Experience in schematic/PCB design and simulation software
Experience with microcontrollers and embedded firmware
Familiarity with data bus architectures (I2C, RS232, SPI, USB, CAN)
Experience in HMI programming for PCs (Visual Basic, C#, Java, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic circuits and PCBs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision
