Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations

Performs the duties of an Ultrasound Technologist

Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas

Prepares room and equipment for patients

Processes images and sends them to PACS for interpretation

Restocks rooms with essential supplies

Pick up clean linen, deliver soiled linen to drop off

Does QA/QC for X-Ray as necessary

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualification

Diagnostic ultrasoundARRTARDMS certificationCPR certificationMS WindowsEnglish proficiency

Required

High School or equivalent, graduate from accredited diagnostic ultrasound program

0-6 months of experience

ARRT or ARDMS certification or eligible and receive certification within 1 year of employment

CPR certification

Ability to speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position

Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail)

Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop-down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations are required upon employment or within the first two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job
