The purpose of the position is to advance swine health, welfare and productivity
The candidate will play an integral role in advancing pain management strategies for pigs on farm in the US
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience conducting on-farm and identifying pain behaviors in swine
In addition, candidates should have experience analyzing data
Qualification
Required
PhD degree in a field related to veterinary medicine or animal sciences with preference for welfare experience
Extensive experience conducting on-farm and identifying pain behaviors in swine
Experience analyzing data
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues
Preferred
Experience working on swine facilities
Experience in studies collecting data on pain response in swine
