They are seeking a Senior Calibration Technician to join their Metrology team, where the main responsibilities include performing calibrations on measurement and test equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications, and providing technical support to equipment users.

Responsibilities

Perform calibrations on measurement and test equipment (M&TE) in multiple disciplines, including – DC/Low Frequency, RF/Microwave, and Time & Frequency, in order to ensure compliance with published specifications

Ensure all calibrations are performed in accordance with documented procedures

Assure the accuracy of the measurements taken by using the proper calibration standards

Maintain secondary and/or working calibration standards

Collect, compile, summarize, and record data gathered during calibration

Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc

Interact with other technicians, Customer Service Representatives, and customers

Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of precision equipment

Ensure compliance with the BAE Systems Quality System

Work in a safe manner, following all company safety requirements

Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
