Responsibilities
Guide and represent the company on EEOC compliance, workplace investigations, and employment law issues
Manage worker’s compensation (WC) litigation
Draft, review, and negotiate a range of business contracts
Advise leadership on legal risk and policy
Collaborate on regulatory compliance and internal process improvement
Qualification
Required
JD from an accredited law school
Active Florida Bar license, good standing
Residence in greater Manatee County, FL
Proven experience in EEOC, employment, and WC litigation
Contract drafting and negotiation expertise
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Prior in-house or government experience
Familiarity with Florida employment law and policy
Effective team and project leadership
