Woolpert is an award-winning, global leader in architecture, engineering, and geospatial services. They are seeking a Stormwater / Hydrologic Designer to be responsible for hydraulic modeling and stormwater design and permitting within their Energy & Water Utilities group.

Responsibilities

Be a subject matter expert in performing hydrologic modeling

Responsible for stormwater design and permitting

Including site evaluation, stormwater control practice design, E&S controls/SWP3 support, existing design analysis and improvement, and the details of jurisdictional regulations

Required

Strong working knowledge of hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software tools (such as HydroCAD)

Competency drafting in Civil3D

Comfort with state, federal, local, and municipal hydrologic design requirements

Willing to work collaboratively with existing team, including mentoring and cross-training

Build from internal team tools, standard references (texts, jurisdictional documentation, data servers), and other resources to help continuously improve processes and deliverables

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field

Software: HydroCAD, HEC-RAS

Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located

Preferred

Some experience in ArcGIS Pro or other ESRI products

Experience specifically with Ohio EPA and City of Columbus regulations
