Sr Product Manager – Technical, Amazon Leo for Government

Amazon is focused on delivering fast, reliable internet connectivity through its low Earth orbit satellite network, Amazon Leo. The Sr Product Manager will work within the Product Management Team to define and manage the product lifecycle, develop pricing strategies, and create product requirements for government customers.

Responsibilities

Define and price ALG products to include pricing analysis, profitability analysis and competitor pricing analysis
Write product roadmaps, product description documents, and engineering requirements documents for product families
Develop Product sheets, help define how to package Amazon Leo services to meet requirements of multiple government customers
Create detailed product requirements documents based on an intimate knowledge of the specific customer verticals (local, state, federal, DoD, intelligence community) including use case prioritization and feature definition
Work with leadership team to set the customer strategy and make appropriate high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch
Manage entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution and work with key stakeholders to deliver on that vision, e.g., business development, engineering, sales, finance, operations, international
Establish goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success
Research and identify new opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers
Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints

Required

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
5+ years of experience in developing satellite communications services pricing
5+ years of experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred

Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
