Custodian - The Chicago Theatre

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. The Custodian will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of their assigned area throughout The Chicago Theatre, maintaining facility standards and assisting in general cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

Maintain facility standards and assist in general cleaning
Sweep floors, detail cleaning, cleaning spills, shampooing, dumping garbage, upkeep of restrooms during events and general maintenance of public areas
Handle facility equipment of different size and weights
Receive deliveries and perform additional duties as assigned
Ensure that MSG standards are always met and exceeded

Qualification

Required

Custodial experience at an entertainment venue or large commercial property
Proficient at utilizing necessary equipment and safety requirements for said equipment
A high level of energy and commitment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time
Ability to work with various operating groups
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment
Ability to lift upwards of 70 lbs
