Cleveland Clinic’s Neurological Institute is seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Director of Research to lead and expand the research initiatives at the Sleep Disorder Center. Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic research vision, leveraging the extensive expertise and resources of Cleveland Clinic in collaboration with center and institute leadership
Lead and mentor a talented research team at the main campus while collaborating with investigators across Cleveland Clinic
Engage with NIH-funded projects, clinical and investigator-initiated trials focused on sleep disorders and their comorbidities, as well as translational work targeting conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, hypersomnia, and circadian rhythm disturbances
Qualification
Required
Candidates must hold an MD, PhD or equivalent degree
Candidate must have research experience in the field of sleep medicine
Possess a demonstrated record of successful research, leadership, and a passion for advancing sleep medicine
An understanding of sleep disorders through clinical practice or research is essential to guide research priorities
The candidate will be eligible for an appointment as an associate or full professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, commensurate with their academic achievements
