Responsibilities
Provide a full range of professional accounting and auditing services including financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations to companies in a variety of industries
Review and verification of bank balances, examinations of fixed assets, inventory, prepaids, accruals, etc
Preparation of a complete set of financial statements including drafting of footnotes and supplemental schedules
Working in a team environment, build relationships with peers, supervisors, and client personnel while handling and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously
Document and communicate any accounting and auditing matters that arise during engagements to the management team
Serve as a client point of contact in addition to Supervisors, Managers, and Partners
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 1+ years' public accounting audit, review, and compilation experience
Understanding of U.S. GAAP and professional standards including U.S. GAAS and SARS
Bachelor's degree in accounting required
Excellent technical, research, problem solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Consistent desire to professionally improve and to be promoted based on the delivery of excellent work product
Preferred
CPA (or in progress) preferred
Preference will be given to those applicants meeting the 150-credit hour requirement for CPA eligibility
