Responsibilities
Supervise the QA team under the guidance of the QA Manager
Lead departmental operations in the absence of the QA Manager
Foster a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Implement and maintain systems to manage raw materials, production quality, packaging standards, and project execution
Ensure compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, FDA regulations, and labeling requirements
Maintain strict adherence to GMPs and food safety protocols across all production and packaging areas
Oversee regulatory compliance for both manufacturing and warehouse operations
Drive ongoing improvements in manufacturing processes, material handling, and overall product quality
Support strategic initiatives aligned with company goals and growth projections
Uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook
Embody company's core values: Partnership, Performance, Passion, and Initiative
Perform additional tasks as needed to support company objectives
Qualification
Required
Strong verbal communication skills; able to present clearly and persuasively in group settings
Effective written communication; adaptable writing style and ability to present data clearly
Solid business acumen with an understanding of profitability, market dynamics, and strategic alignment
High ethical standards; respectful, trustworthy, and aligned with organizational values
Strategic thinker; capable of developing and adapting strategies to meet organizational goals
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic internet and digital literacy
