Azul is seeking a Finance Intern for their Financial Planning & Analysis team to provide hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The intern will support critical financial activities and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes while developing their financial acumen.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of:

Financial statements, forecasts, budgets, strategic plans

Cost control (analysis of cost trends, explanation of variances to budget, and proposing remediation actions)

Presentations to C-suite, Board of Directors, management and individual department managers

Support for coordination of budget and forecast process

Participate in special projects and ongoing enhancements

Required

Undergraduate degree majoring in finance or accounting, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale

Accounting coursework is required

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Able to effectively manage competing priorities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Microsoft Excel

Analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis and reporting

Self-starter/fast learner

Ability to work from our Sunnyvale office
