Responsibilities
Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines
Clean, transform, and organize raw data from various sources (APIs, databases, AWS S3)
Support ETL processes and automate data workflows
Monitor ETL jobs performance and troubleshooting issues
Document data engineering processes and contribute to internal knowledge bases
Interns are fully supervised and instructed on all assignments and are encouraged to confer with their superiors when any questions or problems arise
Perform miscellaneous duties as required by management
Must maintain appropriate attendance
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Internship opportunity for a college student majoring in Data Engineering or a related field
Proficiency in SQL and Python
Knowledge on big data technologies (Apache Spark)
Familiarity with AWS cloud and ETL components like Redshift, Glue
Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts
Understanding of database systems
Strong analytical, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
Ability to organize work and self and execute a wide range of tasks in a logical fashion
Good decision making and documentation skills to interact effectively with team members
