Project Coordinator/Planner
Continental Tide Defense Systems, Inc. is an industry leader providing engineering and industrial services to the U.S. Navy and other DoD organizations. They are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator/Planner to provide technical and project support specifically for the Advanced Carbon Dioxide Removal Unit onboard US Navy submarines, managing HM&E Contracts and Task Orders.

Responsibilities
Identify project goals, milestones, and scope
Develop POA&M for the ACRU Program utilizing MS Project software showing the project timeline
Effectively communicate with engineers, logisticians, and other stakeholders who are part of the project team ensuring deliverables are delivered on time
Identify risks and work closely with the team to mitigate these risks
Continually update POA&M to document completion of project milestones and success
Monitor the budget and scope preventing cost and scope overruns
Establish set meeting schedules and facilitating team discussions
Continually monitor project progress
Concluding project life cycle with relevant end-of-project responsibilities, including facilitating project reviews, and turning over deliverables
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five (5) years' experience with project management of multifaceted projects
Knowledge and Proficiency in developing schedules using Microsoft Project software
Strong understanding of Navy ship systems, including Submarine life support systems is a plus
Team-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience with managing and mitigating project risks
Ability to develop detailed reports
Ability to read and interpret ship installation drawings, installation specifications and NAVSEA Standard Items is a must
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Must have or have the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States
Due to export control regulations, this role is open to U.S. citizens only
Preferred
Familiarity with the NSWCPD organization is a plus
