Responsibilities

Leads a team focused on growth and collaboration, actively recruiting, mentoring, and empowering diverse production talent to achieve branch goals and profitability
Engages regularly with clients, producers, carrier partners, and stakeholders through travel and market forums to represent the branch and strengthen relationships
Oversees branch operations, including administrative, financial, and data processing functions, while delegating tactical tasks to empower strategic leadership and team autonomy
Develops and implements succession planning strategies, identifying and mentoring emerging leaders to ensure continuity, scalability, and equitable opportunities for advancement
Collaborates with regional and corporate leadership to align branch goals with broader organizational strategies, including compensation modeling and structural evolution
Makes thoughtful staffing decisions, including internal promotions and external hires, while managing transitions with sensitivity to team dynamics and fostering open communication
Cultivates a positive and inclusive branch culture, promoting collaboration, trust, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with company standards
Coordinates special projects such as branch consolidations, leadership development pilots, and compensation restructuring to support sustainable growth
Partners with HR and Finance to design competitive and equitable compensation structures, balancing base salary, bonus eligibility, and draw models to attract and retain top talent
Supports sales enablement and training, ensuring all team members—new hires and existing producers—receive the guidance, resources, and opportunities needed to thrive

Required

Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related experience
Comprehensive understanding of insurance practices and principles
General knowledge of computer operating and network systems, along with technological expertise to support informed decision-making regarding branch operations
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower a diverse team
Proven business development and sales capabilities, with a track record of achieving revenue targets
Proactive mindset in exploring industry trends and applying innovative practices to insurance and financial operations
Demonstrates adaptability in navigating evolving market dynamics, adjusting strategies and priorities to align with changing business conditions and customer needs
