Climate Pollution Reduction Communications Consultant (Communications Consultant 4)
IAP2 USA is seeking two Climate Pollution Reduction Communications Consultants to support their Climate Pollution Reduction Program (CPRP). The role involves developing and implementing multichannel communication strategies, crafting messaging, and coordinating with various stakeholders to promote climate policy and reduce carbon emissions in Washington State.

Responsibilities
Help shape multichannel communication strategies across multiple projects and take the lead on implementation
Work with experts throughout the program, synthesizing their knowledge to create informative and accessible content for both niche and broad audiences
Craft messaging, shape and implement strategic communications plans, media and public relations activities, and coordinate communications with other state and local agencies and elected officials
Qualification
Required
Passionate about preserving our natural environment and climate policy
Ability to write compelling and effective content
Experience in shaping multichannel communication strategies
Ability to synthesize knowledge from experts to create informative and accessible content
Experience in crafting messaging and implementing strategic communications plans
Experience in media and public relations activities
Ability to coordinate communications with state and local agencies and elected officials
Creative thinking and strategic decision-making skills
Willingness to live within a commutable distance from the duty station
Ability to work in a team with purpose-driven colleagues
