Responsibilities

Managing the profitability of the team, contributing to the overall success of the business unit and company at large
Collaborate closely with project managers and senior leaders to deliver high-quality, timely, and value-added environmental services to clients. This includes expertise in areas such as asbestos, lead, hazardous materials, and related environmental disciplines
Develop and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline throughout Southern California region
Conduct and manage field work, including site inspections, sample collection, and environmental assessments
Prepare comprehensive reports and technical documents for client use, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Interface with clients at a technical level, leveraging strong communication skills to address concerns, provide updates, and offer expert advice
Develop cost estimates and proposals for environmental projects, taking into account factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and regulatory compliance requirements
Manage assigned tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards

California Asbestos Consultant certificationCDPH Lead Inspector/Assessor certification40-hour HAZWOPER trainingBusiness development skillsTechnical expertise in hazardous materialsLeadership experienceClient relationship managementMarket insightProject management skillsCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in engineering, environmental studies, or a related field
10+ years of proven leadership experience, combining a strong seller/doer mindset with a track record of driving business growth and delivering technical excellence
Certification as a California Asbestos Consultant and CDPH Lead Inspector/Assessor is required
Must possess deep market insight and a comprehensive understanding of the Southern California region
Completion of the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training
