The role involves ensuring exceptional care delivery, developing clinical policies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead medical services across residential homes, including a state-of-the-art facility

Oversee medical protocols, documentation, and compliance in accordance with state and federal regulations

Act as the primary medical contact for hospital admissions, emergencies, and urgent care

Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing staff, therapists, and administrators

Assess and arrange appropriate medical staffing, support, and on-call schedules, including support for weekend and after-hours coverage

Provide guidance on treatment plans and coordinate with external healthcare providers as needed

Required

Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, with expertise in serving individuals with disabilities or complex medical needs

Strong knowledge of clinical protocols, compliance standards, and hospital procedures

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Ability to manage medical emergencies and develop effective on-call support structures

Must have experience with the I/DD patient population
