Responsibilities

Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival

Manage reservations, guest waitlist, and table assignments using designated system

Maintain awareness of guest preferences, VIPs, and seating strategy

Escort guests to tables, providing menus and informing servers of arrival

Monitor pacing of dining room and communicate with service staff to ensure smooth flow

Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries and bookings

Maintain a polished, welcoming presence at the host stand throughout service

Required

1–2 years of experience in a host or guest-facing role in upscale hospitality

Familiarity with reservation systems (Resy, OpenTable, SevenRooms, etc.)

Strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities

Comfortable handling guest concerns or requests diplomatically

Poised, polished appearance and communication

Warm, confident presence under pressure

Exceptional organization and floor awareness

Natural communicator with excellent phone and in-person etiquette

Graceful handling of high-volume guest interactions

Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas

Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces

Remain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shift

Medium Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly moving objects, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
