Responsibilities

Performs visual inspection of printed circuit board assemblies to the IPC-610 standard/J-STD-001
Performs visual inspection of cable assemblies to IPC-620 standards
Performs visual inspection of product under a microscope
May contribute to client reports or prepare client reports under close supervision
May support other inspection and test activities associated with circuit card assembly including running in circuit testing or automated optical inspection

Required

Associates degree in engineering or related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience building and/or inspecting Circuit Cards to J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610
Experience inspecting wire harnesses to IPC-620
Solid knowledge of ESD control
Experience working in a production environment under ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards
Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings, inspection procedures, and work instructions
Working knowledge and understanding of measurement methodologies and techniques
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US government security clearance

Preferred

Familiarity with using a microscope
Current IPC-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-620 Certification
Experience working within the US military or US defense contractor environment
Experience and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)
