They are seeking a Natural Gas Scheduler to join their Commercial Operations team, responsible for daily pipeline nominations, monitoring supply interruptions, and managing pipeline balances.

Responsibilities
Entering pipeline nominations for gas purchases and sales on a timely basis complying with the pipeline’s cycle deadlines
Passing relevant upstream and downstream contract information to third parties ensuring nomination accuracy
Balancing pipelines daily by validating all deals and updating transportation movements in the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system
Monitoring pipeline informational postings for maintenance schedules, capacity constraints, and any relevant tariff changes including commodity charges and fuel changes
Verifying new service agreements and updating any relevant fuel and commodity charges to accurately capture variable costs
Building and maintaining positive relationships with feeder pipeline scheduling representatives
Participating in an on-call rotation plan to provide scheduling coverage outside of normal office hours including holidays and weekends
Assisting Back Office during their settlement process providing pipeline support for volumetric discrepancies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, supply chain, or another related field
1-3 years of experience in natural gas pipeline scheduling
Familiarity with Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) systems
Working knowledge if Interstate Pipeline EBBs
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Inquisitive and Analytical nature
Ability to work effectively on short notice and provide coverage outside of normal office hours, including holidays and weekends
