Division Chief; Associate or Full; Tenure or Clinician Educator Track; Pediatric Hematology
The University of Pennsylvania is seeking candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the Division of Pediatric Hematology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The Division Chief will lead a large pediatric hematology program, overseeing clinical, research, and educational activities, while also participating in patient care, teaching, and advancing scholarship in the field.

Responsibilities
Lead one of the largest and most successful pediatric hematology programs in the nation
Participate in patient care, teaching, and scholarship
Teach medical students, residents, fellows, and APPs
Train large numbers of medical students, residents, and fellows
Oversee the clinical, research, and educational activities of the Division
Lead recruiting efforts in the Division
Ensure career mentoring for all faculty and fellows in the Division
Contribute to the field of pediatric hematology through research or scholarship
Support research endeavors through advocacy, mentorship, and development of philanthropic partnerships
Qualification
Required
Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
The successful applicant will have a strong track record of scholarship and research
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and APPs
Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient or outpatient services at CHOP's Main campus, King of Prussia campus and other sites
The next Division Chief will lead a large group of investigators, supporting their research endeavors through advocacy, mentorship, and development of philanthropic partnerships
The Division Chief will oversee the clinical, research, and educational activities of the Division, lead recruiting efforts in the Division, and ensure career mentoring for all faculty and fellows in the Division
