Responsibilities
Improve Our Core Transfer Technology: Design and implement solutions to help us better facilitate transactions for our customers and partners by integrating effectively with financial institutions and other stakeholders
Build Scalable Architecture: Engineer and optimize resilient solutions to handle increasing user volumes and ensure seamless performance during peak usage times
Cloud-Native Development: Work within modern cloud-native architecture (mostly AWS) to support high availability
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in a software engineering role with exposure to designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native applications
Strong knowledge and working experience with automation tools and frameworks
Excellent problem solving skills, and an appreciation for taking on new challenges
Knowledge of relational databases and/or NoSQL databases
Experience with multiple programming languages (we use Node / Typescript and Java)
Experience working on products with rapid feature development, including fast iterations and tight feedback loops during QA processes
Ability to troubleshoot highly distributed systems
Preferred
Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
AWS security best practices
Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch
Previous exposure to large-scale systems design, taking a project all the way from business logic to full production
