Soaring Heights School is currently hiring a Special Education Teacher to design and implement behavioral management plans and collaborate with educational and therapeutic staff for students requiring special education programming.

Responsibilities

The Teacher will conduct special education programming to students who have been identified as needing special education programming by their IEP and who attend the education program through Pyramid Healthcare

Design and implement effective behavioral management plans in all educational settings

Organize and implement effective classroom delivery of service

Work with all staff (education & therapeutic) for effective implementation of all special education requirements

Complete all necessary paperwork, phone contacts & record keeping

Attend meetings as required

Respond to emergency situation
