Delving into the world of bovies, instrument counts, scopes, steris beds, robots, sterility, intubation and other surgical processes

Qualification

Certified Surgical TechnologistBLS Provider certificationPerioperative trainingPatient advocacyInterdisciplinary teamwork

Required

Education: HS/GED

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification

Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) OR Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by National Center Competency Testing (NCCT)
