Clinical Psychologist

Akicita Federal, LLC is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide trauma-informed, culturally sensitive mental health services to Native American adolescents at the New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center. Responsibilities

Conduct psychological evaluations, mental status exams, diagnostic assessments, and formulate treatment plans based on DSM-5 criteria
Provide evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy, including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Prolonged Exposure, and EMDR
Address co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance use) and crisis situations, including suicide risk, trauma response, and behavioral emergencies
Deliver culturally relevant therapy that accounts for the unique social, historical, and cultural needs of Native American youth
Provide case management support and coordinate with family, educational, and community resources as part of a holistic treatment approach
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) using government-provided equipment and software
Participate in treatment planning meetings, staff conferences, and required in-service trainings
Complete all clinical documentation, patient progress notes, discharge summaries, and follow-up reports as needed

Required

Active, unrestricted Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program
Minimum of one (1) year of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably with adolescents or in residential treatment settings
Must hold a valid State License to practice Psychology
Proficiency in DSM-5 diagnostics and EHR systems
Ability to pass a federal background investigation and child protection clearance

Preferred

Experience with psychological testing, crisis intervention, and treatment of trauma and substance use disorders
